We confirm that IBS is registered as a Bunker supplier in Australia with AMSA and that we comply with the new requirements of MARPOL Annex VI and that our fuel oil will not exceed the required 4.5% sulphur content (which we never have in the past 3 years).
Samples will be taken in accordance with Marpol requirements using a continuous-drip sampler. The receiving vessel will be provided with two samples - a Marpol sample and a Commercial Sample.
Our current Bunker Delivery Receipt’s (BDR’s) only need to be updated to include the receiving vessels IMO Number and the new Compliance statement.
As we have a number of BDR’s still in stock, we are handwriting the receiving vessels IMO Number on the BDR and affixing a stamp to each copy of each BDR with regard to the compliance statement.
We expect to have exhausted the stock of our existing BDR’s by July 2005 and will have new ones printed with a specific spot for the IMO Number and with the Compliance statement printed onto the BDR.
All data such as quantities, Sulphur Content, Density, etc is printed onto the BDR with each delivery as a matter of course.
