Under the ownership of International Bunker Supplies, the Gladstone bunker terminal has delivered quality marine fuel to a large number of vessels many of which have become repeat customers. These vessels represent a range of different buyers from many different countries. Therefore IBS can legitimately claim to be International despite having only one supply port.
Many of our clients are introduced by a variety of Bunker Brokers from all parts of the world. Other clients are Bunker Traders who bring to IBS a wide array of end users. And of course we deal directly with many ship owners and operators.
In terms of vessel types we have bunkered Capesize, Panamax, Handy Size and much smaller vessels. Bulkers, general cargo, coal, grain, livestock, explosives, chemical tankers, petroleum tankers, passenger vessels, naval vessels, tugs and Coast-Guard vessels have all enjoyed the experience of bunkering at Gladstone.
The IBS customer base is drawn from a variety of countries, which include Australia, Singapore, Japan, China, Korea, USA, Canada, Brazil, UK, France, Italy, Germany, The Netherlands, Denmark, Norway and Switzerland among others.
It is not only those vessels working cargo in Gladstone that make use of the IBS facilities. Gladstone is well known as a premier bunker only port and a number of our customers make regular visits for this purpose.
